Joyya Smith

She's very nice and caring and an easy A. She's a smart woman and teaches a lot of interesting topics. Never used the textbook and in my particular class, we didn't even have a test.

Professor Smith is very caring and understanding of students needs. The work load was never too much but did include a decent amount of assignments including: A group project, a couple reflection papers and an essay for both the midterm and the final. She wants whats best for you and wants everyone to succeed.

Professor Smith is kind and cares about students. However, at least for the class I took with her, she was not very clear with assignments or grades, she did not communicate well about assignments or class cancellations, and relied heavily on personality tests. In all, it showed to me a lack of care for and understanding of how to run a class.
