Jude Grauso

I waited a long time to be able to take ASL as a class, and I am so glad I was finally able to take it for my language requirement. Professor Grauso is funny, kind, and really flexible if you have something going on. I'm excited to take ASL 102 next semester!

Professor Grauso is amazing! I would recommend everyone take ASL for their language requirement, as Prof. G made learning a new language fun and inspiring. However, if you do not attend class, you will probably fail. The book is used for homework. A few quizzes, exams, one paper, a final exam, and a final presentation. Deaf culture and history too

Literally the best professor I've ever had - he's so so funny and a great teacher.

Prof. Grauso is the best. Took him for ASL-101 and 102 and got As in both. There are weekly quizzes on the vocab learned that week, but they're easy if you go to class, no studying needed. He utilizes a textbook with videos in it for homework, but mainly uses it in 101. He's funny and understanding when life happens, highly recommend.

Amazing human being. One of my favorite professors ever. There is no speaking in class so you learn 10x faster and can be fully indulged into the world of ASL. Such an incredible class!
